ReThinkNew: Creative Mending Workshop with MadameFLO

The MadameFLO workshop is pleased to announce the third CRAFTENZIA event, entitled ReThinkNew, an event designed for those who wish to rediscover and reinvent their favorite garments, giving them new life through creative and visible mending techniques.

During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn innovative techniques for mending their jeans and other garments, including:

• Visible mending on a loom
• Sashiko-style patches
• Creative embossed patches
• Stretch patches

In recent years, the love of vintage and second-hand has grown, thanks in part to platforms that make it possible to buy one-of-a-kind garments directly from the closets of those who have chosen to give clothes new life. But even our most beloved garments, worn out by time and the stress of fast fashion, can get a second chance. During ReThinkNew, participants will discover how to avoid giving in to the temptations of unnecessary purchases by learning how to give new life to their favorite clothes with a touch of creativity and restyling.

And to make the experience even more unique, each participant will be able to choose a pair of jeans for mending, offered free of charge, on which to practice the techniques learned during the workshop.
