51st Exhibition of Cutting Irons “I ferri del mestiere. Il mestiere dei ferri”

Knives and cutting irons represent only one of the many expressions of the art of iron working – the result of the creativity and dedication of skilled artisans. All the workers at the forge are rooted in the tradition of iron smiths, an ancient and noble craft that is still capable of renewal today.

The exhibition offers a tour of the exhibition that takes you “behind the scenes” of the life of sharp irons, inviting you to take a fresh look at the museum’s collection and admire never-before-seen pieces of its heritage. It will also be an opportunity to discover the many iron works that grace the Palazzo dei Vicari.

The opening, in the presence of the City Administration and the Museum’s Scientific Director, will be followed by a toast with prosecco to celebrate the next fifty years of exhibitions.
