The Art of Ceramics Association is offering an unmissable opportunity for art and ceramics enthusiasts: an intensive 4-day workshop on techniques for transferring images onto ceramic surfaces.

The Officina Creativa Lab Ceramic Workshop, located in the spaces of the Conventino fuori le Mura, will welcome those who wish to learn how to transform photos, drawings or digital images into real works of art on ceramics.

Two exceptional masters from Madrid will lead the course, Javier Ramos Arana and Elena Carrasco Martinez. During the workshop, participants will explore the most fascinating transfer techniques on ceramic media such as porcelain paper and refractory clays, working with photographs, drawings and digital images.

The four-day workshop will focus on:
– Preparation and use of lithography and bas-relief plates;
– Application of photosensitive emulsion for photogravure;
– Printing techniques on curved and three-dimensional surfaces;
– Making and decorating porcelain paper.

The course is open to everyone, from professionals to enthusiasts, with no previous experience necessary.
