RESKILLING CRAFTS: strengthening European crafts with inclusive redevelopment workshops

Artex is a partner in RESKILLING CRAFTS, a European project created to support and innovate the craft sector at a time of major economic, technological and social change.

Funded by Erasmus+ and lasting 36 months, RESKILLING CRAFTS involves nine partners from Spain, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Cyprus and Turkey. Together they will co-design and test an innovative model of Reskilling Labs, inclusive spaces designed to strengthen the skills of artisans and accompany the sector towards the digital and sustainable economy.

Project Goals.

RESKILLING CRAFTS aims to generate concrete impact through:

Modernization of training pathways for the artisan sector
Digital and green skills to foster innovation
New opportunities for jobs and growth, supporting businesses and professionals

The project not only upgrades skills, but also aims to protect and enhance the cultural heritage of traditional arts and crafts, integrating it with the needs of contemporary markets.

Who it is aimed at

Reskilling Labs will be designed for a wide and diverse audience:

Artisans and workers in transition
Vocational training providers (VET providers, SMEs)
Local institutions and policy makers

Through concrete activities and an inclusive approach, RESKILLING CRAFTS will create the European Craft Sector Reskilling Alliance, laying the foundation for a sustainable model that can be replicated across Europe.

Together, the partners are working toward a shared vision: to transform the European craft sector, helping artisans adapt and thrive in a changing economy.
